I knew Bill Paup in the mid to late 80's. He inspired me to continue my education and to "reach for the stars". Over the years, I would visit Santa Rosa from time to time and always ask my friends if they had run into Bill, and how was he doing? My friends had not seen him around lately and they were wondering if he had relocated. I am saddened to hear that he was terminally ill and battling a disease that nobody deserves to have. I am sorry that Bill's light no longer guides those who depended on his leadership, for the world was truly a better place having Bill in it. I thank you for hosting this blog and for posting a recent picture of Bill and Kristi. My heart goes out to Kristi and family, and Bill's friends and co-workers. I feel some comfort being able to share my feelings on this blog, paying tribute to a great man that I knew and loved so many years ago.
Tony - Bill was not only my business partner, my son's Godfather, one of my closest friends and all-around buddy, he was my "brother from another mother" and I shall miss him today and tomorrow. Thank you for the great shot of Bill and Kristi - she was the context, the love in Bill's life that caused him to say, so many times in those last months, "..I've really hit the sweet spot in life." Thank you, Tony - Christian Eddleman
