Obsolete...

I am not getting the results I once did doing what I am now doing. Time to reconsider...

Thanks Bill, I forgot that.

Tony,

It was great to see you. I'm glad to hear that you feel obsolete. Personally, I've never felt very relevant; so, it's nice to know there are people doing great ministry that feel the same way.

I go to the YMCA 3 or 4 mornings a week and sweat hard for an hour or so exercising on the treadmill and weight machines. Even so, when I look down I still can't see my belt buckle. Not that long ago I could easily drop 10 pounds by just passing on dessert for a week. Results are elusive for me too. On the other hand, I have gained imperative ground in other areas, like hearing Gods quiet voice prodding me along. I'd like to be skinny AND a good listener, but if I had to choose . . .

If there was a continuum between intuitive and feelings on one side and theoretical and "dry" on the other, you know I'm on the "dry" side.

That's just my make-up, though I know I need the other side, and my brothers and sisters on the other side. And I loved working for you for the brief time that I did.

I don't know what the results are that aren't there anymore, and I'm sure there are things to work on. But I'm confident you are not obsolete, and I'm even more confident that we have not yet seen the final result from all the planting, watering, and harvesting that has been done through your ministry (fine, God's ministry using you, you know what I mean).

Do not grow weary my dancing, challenging, Spirit-listening, new-thinking, friend. Even we who are not there anymore are encouraged by you.
