...my mom.

Well, that is fascinating. That is an identity that one could imagine could actually cloud a message.

Ironically, the questions that she asked were not very inflammatory coming from her, compared to how inflammatory they were coming from someone who had worked with you in a ministry capacity.

I expect, Tony's mom, that you found our reactions surprising, as I expect your questions did not sound damaging or challenging as you wrote them. Indeed, they aren't. In this case, though, not knowing the author actually made the comments seem more challenging than they were.

It appears that all of us (including Tony, it appears) mis-perceived the range of things the author might have been intending. I am fascinated to imagine the conversation that would have followed had we known who wrote them.

I regret, Tony's mom, if you found any of my comments offensive or hurtful.

I don't know if there would be many people more difficult to defend myself against than my mother. I don't know what your relationship together is like, Tony, but regardless I reiterate my hope not only for you and your mother but the many others you are in fellowship with.

Wow, I don't even think my mom knows what a blog is, much less how to comment on one. Power to your momma.

If my mom read my blog she'd likely stick her head in the oven.

I love the pictures of you and Todd, Paisan. Sometimes it's hard to remember what is important. And then we sit with a friend.
