I watched a young girl today on the ropes course get up enough courage to go forward. I was so impressed with Jenna's, the Events staff person, patience and encouragement. And I found great joy in Allie, the camper, who really had to trust Jenna and herself to move past the great fear...

As brave as I like to think I am sometimes....I bawled my bloody eyes out on that thing once...Lindsey was leading my team on it...she was sympathetic but kinda laughing b/c it was so odd for me.....not my proudest moment. ;-) Good for Allie and Jenna. Thanks for sharing.
mmmm i remember those sweet sweet days of events. it was amazing to see campers and adults and staff and probably the coolest was valley teen ranch kids conquer their fears and trust someone or something maybe for the first time by going forward. i was so blessed to be a part of those victories. i miss being in the tree.
